Today I sit down with CJ Finley, a performance coach and entrepreneur who broke out of the traditional career path to heal his body and find his calling!
Today I sit down and talk with CJ Finley.
CJ is a former collegiate athlete who played soccer and excelled in school but wasn't necessarily living the life he truly wanted to live.
From a young age, like most men his and my age, we got most of our love and adoration from excelling sports or school. As CJ excelled in math and science he was nudged into engineering went he went to college.
But once college was over and CJ started his corporate engineering job he found out very quickly that this wasn't the life for him! Besides the fact that CJ hated hitting at a desk all day the biggest thing that happened was that CJ got diagnosed with Celiac disease and starting battling a lot of internal auto-immune issues.
The sickness got really bad. To the point where CJ started to question he existence on this earth if this was the life he had to live for the next 30-40 years.
The pain of his illnesses and mental anguish in this career was strong enough for CJ to make the best decision of his life at the time which was to PIVOT and start down a new path.
This decision started with healing his internal auto-immune issues and we go over some of the key insights and methodologies CJ learned to heal himself.
And along this healing journey, other people started to notice how much better CJ was feeling, how much more energy he had, and how much joy CJ was carrying with him now that others wanted help from him to get that for themselves. This is where CJ's performance coaching started.
It was awesome having CJ on the show because I love sharing stories of other men around my age who were bold enough to pivot out of the traditional lifestyle and forge their own path.
CJ is now an entrepreneur who helps other companies and coaches build enough momentum in the beginning stage of their business to be able to thrive on their own in the long term!
